Birthday Mee is one of the Nyonya food which famous in Penang. It wasn’t as popular as Char Koay Teow and Laksa, which you will find in any coffee shop. However, a great plate of birthday mee is always challenging to find. Some call birthday mee as lam mee just because of the way it is prepared by dousing the noodle with plain broth. It is usually prepared for the birthday boys or girls in the wish for longevity.
