Chef Benny discovered his passion for cooking at a young age. He was born and raised in a modest Penang home. His knowledge of European culinary management and more than ten years of experience working in hotels and award-winning restaurants in Singapore, including Corner House, and Botanic Garden (a Michelin-starred restaurant and winner of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants), back up his culinary prowess. Chef Jason Tan oversaw the establishment.

In order to deliver sophisticated new creations of French-Asian cuisine here at BLANC, Chef Benny combines his enthusiasm for contemporary French dining with his Asian roots. Dining customers can anticipate an intriguing seasonal menu that is distinctively unique and appealing to the discriminating taste of today’s food lovers in Penang and the surrounding area. This includes the creative process of experimenting with both local and western ingredients as well as combining various flavors and textures.
