Restaurant Ilyana Cafe is a renowned seafood eatery in Penang, serving fresh and affordable dishes since 1994. Tuan Haji Sahimi bin Abdul Hamid opened the restaurant, which at first just served grilled fish and nasi lemak but is today known for its assortment of Chinese-influenced seafood dishes. Along with additional seafood alternatives including crab and clams, their most well-known dishes are prawn noodles, fish head curry, spicy tamarind fish, and grilled fish. The eatery, which boasts a warm atmosphere, has been a local and tourist favorite for almost 30 years.
