One of the few restaurants offering an Unagi-focused menu is Unagiya Shin, a newly opened Japanese restaurant at Pulau Tikus that specializes in serving Japanese-styled Unagi. The name speaks for itself, “Unagiya”… a direct translation would be House of Unagi. The menu here revolves around Unagi- be it grilled Unagi or Unagi bowl; along with a mix of popular Japanese grills and delicacies. Items are reasonably priced here- those with deeper pockets can go for the imported Eels; else, the fresh and expertly cooked local Eels work fine. This is a place especially suitable for Unagi lovers.
